Named for my neighbor and her generosity in sharing her delicious plump figs with us at summer's end. She happens to have a gifted green thumb and her flowers and trees seem to worship her. I enjoy getting lost in the center of the fig tree's arms and I can just imagine what kind of heaven it is to find sanctuary as a bird does in all of the glorious green as its home.
